Croquet is played on a court (preferably an even lawn) which is approx. 30 m long and 20 m wide. Each player has one mallet and one ball. If there are more than 4 players, croquet is usually played in teams of 2. The object of the game is to know the ball through all the hoops and finally hit the pegs. The circuit is repeated twice. First on the "way out" fromt the start peg to the turning peg and then "back" in the opposite direction.
